Acceptance of Gifts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Bandung Independent School (BIS) welcomes and appreciates gifts from donors who support the school&#8217;s mission and values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All gifts must comply with applicable laws and regulations and, therefore, donors must provide the information required in the form on the BIS website.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Types of Gifts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BIS accepts monetary donations, in-kind contributions, and other forms of gifts that align with the school&#8217;s educational objectives.\n<ul>\n<li>monetary donations may be made through the school website or the Business Office.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-kind and other forms of gifts may be made by contacting Ms. Marci Russell at <a href=\"mailto:head@bisedu.or.id\">head@bisedu.or.id<\/a> or Pak Asep Saepul at <a href=\"mailto:asep.saepul@bisedu.or.id\">asep.saepul@bisedu.or.id<\/a>. Gifts that are not monetary donations will be assessed for value and will be recorded under in-kind contributions to keep accurate records for the school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Restricted Gifts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Donors are welcome to designate the purpose of their contribution; nevertheless, BIS retains the authority to evaluate the practicality of adhering to any imposed restrictions. This implies that donations may be allocated to current or future school projects as planned by the school, and the fulfillment of specific requests may not be guaranteed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gifts that compromise the integrity, values, vision, or mission of BIS may be declined.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Compliance with Laws:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Donors must comply with all relevant laws, including but not limited to tax regulations governing charitable contributions in Indonesia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please note that the fund is not a registered 501 (c) (3) or any other charitable fund and therefore is not tax-deductible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BIS will not accept gifts that violate any applicable laws or ethical standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Tax Considerations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Donors are responsible for understanding the tax implications of their gifts and should seek professional advice if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BIS will provide acknowledgment receipts for donor purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Recognition and Anonymity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BIS will recognize donors publicly unless anonymity is requested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Donors who wish to remain anonymous should notify BIS in the notes section when they place their donation and alert Marci Russell by email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Discretion in Acceptance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BIS reserves the right to decline any gift that is not in the best interest of the school or does not align with the school&#8217;s values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Transparency and Reporting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BIS is committed to transparency in financial reporting. Annual reports will include a list of donors and the total amount of contributions unless donors request otherwise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Communication:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BIS may communicate with donors for acknowledgment, updates, and appreciation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Donors may opt out of communications or specify preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Amendment and Review:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; BIS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as needed.
